VARIETY: Vermentino. PRODUCTION AREA: It produced entirely in the territory of Berchidda located on the south slope of Mount Limbara in Gallura (Sardinia). The vineyard is situated on land granite weathering and exposed to a warm climate with good temperature during the summer. DESIGNATION OF ORIGIN: Vermentino di Gallura Superiore Denomination of Controlled and Guaranteed Origin. HARVEST: manually collected between the second and third week of September when the grapes were ripening and have optimal sugar content. WINE MAKING: soft pressing is carried out immediately after harvest of the grapes, followed by a cold maceration of 24H before the pressing with pneumatic presses. The juice, clarified, then enters a long fermentation at 15 ° c. COLOR: Intense straw yellow. PERFUME: delicate, with dominant fruity notes. FLAVOR: the first smooth feel anticipates a strong and complex structure. ALCOHOL CONTENT: 13.5% vol. HOW TO DRINK: aperitifs, natural accompaniment to seafood, not disdain the most intriguing and unusual combinations.
